ACT-ResidualThis exam is a college admissions exam for students who missed the ACT National test dates, or those who only want the scores reported to TSU. There is a 60 day waiting period to retake the test. The ACT-Residual score cannot be used for scholarship application nor reported to other colleges.
Important Information- On exam day bring your email registration receipt. You must also present a valid photo I.D. (current drivers license is suitable.)
- Total cost is $41 and is non-refundable.*
- Test time starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 12:30 p.m.

- CLEP exams are multiple-choice, last 90 minutes and are taken on computer.
- If you fail a CLEP exam you must wait 6 months before retaking it.
- You may contact ETS for CLEP details at 800.257.9558.
- CLEP exams are administered in Avon Williams, room 220.

- Total cost for a CLEP exam is $100.* A non-refundable payment of $23 is required upon registration. On test day you will pay a $77 fee to CLEP using a credit card or money order.
*CLEP fees: TSU fee is $20. PrepBlast registration processing fee is $3. Both fees are non-refundable. You must also pay a $77 CLEP fee on test day. A student may not CLEP any course previously taken.TopDANTES- Total cost for a DANTES exam is $103.*A non-refundable payment of $23 is required upon registration. MATThe Miller Analogies Test (MAT) is one of the tests that can be used for admission to Graduate School at TSU.
Important Information- The MAT is computerized.
- On exam day bring your email registration receipt. You must also present a valid photo ID matching the name used when registering for the test (non-expired Passport, non-expired Driver's License or non-expired Military ID.)
- Total cost is $68 and is non-refundable.
- Test is 50 minutes.
- There are 100 questions.
- Scores are mailed within 2 to 4 weeks.
- The Psychological Corporation will mail your results to your home address. Scores required for admission to graduate school depend upon your major. Check with an advisor and/or the graduate office for details and score requirements.
- The Psychological Corporation develops the MAT and their number is 800.622.3231.
- The MAT is administered in room 310/312, Holland Hall. Note: On October 16, 2008 the MAT is given in room 220, Avon Williams.
